Terms of Service
Last updated September 28, 2026
These terms are between you and VVS Inc., of Quebec, Canada, which runs FlyingPal. By using it you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What FlyingPal is
A flight tracker for travellers. You add flights, and we follow the aircraft using public data and alert you about departures, landings, delays and US airport disruptions. FlyingPal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any airline or airport. Airline and airport names are used only to identify flights.
Flight information can be wrong
Our information comes from public and volunteer-run sources: route data from Virtual Radar Server, aircraft positions from adsb.lol, and airport status from the FAA. It can be late, incomplete or wrong: a route can be out of date, an aircraft can be out of range of every receiver, and a delay is only known once someone has entered the scheduled time. Alerts can arrive late or not at all.
Always confirm times, gates and changes with your airline and the airport before acting on them. We are not responsible for a missed flight, connection, pickup or any cost that follows from relying on FlyingPal.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google and are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use FlyingPal to break the law, to overload or scrape the service, or to resell its data. Anything you type that is shared with other travellers on the same flight (a departure time, the airports) must be your honest best information.
Plus
- Tracking flights, the logbook and US airport status are free. Plus adds alerts and is sold as a subscription at the price shown on the pricing page when you buy it.
- The first flight you ever track has every Plus alert on, free, with no card.
- Plus is sold by our reseller, Polar, as merchant of record. Polar charges your card, adds any sales tax, and sends your receipts.
- It renews automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings in the app; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, write to us and we will look at it.
- If the price changes, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Changes to the service
We may change or remove features, or stop the service, with notice where we can. If we stop it, we refund the unused part of any paid period.
Liability
FlyingPal is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Quebec consumer protection law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and of Canada as they apply there.
